An alumni of the Surgical Oncology Department at AIIMS, New Delhi, he has trained extensively in the field of advanced breast surgery and breast reconstruction. He has been previously associated with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, Delhi; Fortis Memorial Ressearch Institute, Gurugram and Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj.

He is among the first in the country to receive the esteemed Breast Surgery fellowship from European Board of Surgery and has trained in Breast Oncoplasty from European Society of Surgical Oncology along with Observership in Breast Surgery from Vall D’Hebron Hospital, Barcelona, Spain.
